How Do I Create Custom Quick Reply Messages on TickTalk 5?
TickTalk includes over 45 built-in Quick Reply Messages that children can use when sending messages from the watch.
Parents can also create custom Quick Reply Messages to make communication faster and more personalized.
How to Create a Custom Quick Reply Message
- Open the TickTalk App.
- Go to Parent Portal.
- Select Custom Message Responses.
- Tap Add.
- Enter the message you would like your child to use.
- Save your changes.
Once the watch is online, the new Quick Reply Message will automatically sync to the watch.
Examples of Custom Quick Reply Messages
Many families create messages such as:
- I'm ready for pickup.
- Practice is over.
- I'm at school.
- Can you call me?
- Running a few minutes late.
- I'm at a friend's house.
Where Do Quick Reply Messages Appear?
Quick Reply Messages are available in the watch Messaging app.
Your child can select a saved response instead of typing a message manually.
Can I Edit or Remove a Quick Reply Message?
Yes.
To update or remove a custom response:
- Open the TickTalk App.
- Go to Parent Portal > Custom Message Responses.
- Select the message.
- Edit or delete it.
- Save your changes.
Important Note
The watch must be online using either cellular service or Wi-Fi in order to receive updated Quick Reply Messages from the TickTalk App.
