How Do I Invite Another User to My TickTalk Watch?
You can invite additional parents, guardians, family members, or trusted contacts to connect with your child's TickTalk watch through the TickTalk App.
Option 1: SMS Invitation (United States and Canada Only)
Users in supported countries can send an SMS invitation directly through the TickTalk App.
- Open the TickTalk App.
- Go to Parent Portal.
- Select Contacts.
- Tap App Users.
- Select Invite Contacts.
- Enter the recipient's country code and mobile phone number.
- Tap Send Invite.
The TickTalk system will automatically send an SMS invitation containing instructions and the watch's TTID.
Option 2: Manual Pairing (All Countries)
Users can also be added manually using the watch's TTID.
The new user should:
- Download the TickTalk App.
- Create a TickTalk App account.
- Enter the watch's TTID.
- Submit a pairing request.
The TTID can be found on the watch under:
Settings > About Me
Approving a New App User
After a pairing request is submitted:
- The Administrator will receive a push notification in the TickTalk App.
- Open the notification and review the request.
- Approve the new user.
- Assign the appropriate permission level.
Available permission levels include:
- Full Access
- Limited Access
Important Notes
- Only the Administrator can approve new app users.
- The Administrator is the first person who paired the watch with the TickTalk App.
- Users cannot access the watch until their request has been approved.
- SMS invitations are currently available only in the United States and Canada.
- Users in all countries can pair using the watch's TTID.
