What Is the Difference Between Administrator, Full Access, and Limited Access Users?
TickTalk allows multiple approved users to communicate with your child's watch while giving the Administrator control over access and safety settings.
Administrator
The Administrator is the first person who successfully pairs the watch to the TickTalk App.
There can only be one Administrator per watch at a time.
The Administrator has the highest level of access and control, including:
- Approving or denying App User requests
- Assigning Full Access or Limited Access permissions
- Viewing location and route history
- Managing approved contacts
- Editing watch settings
- Managing safety features
- Enabling or disabling 911 Calling
- Managing T-Cloud settings
- Using Remote Answer
Only the Administrator can use the Remote Answer feature.
Full Access Users
Full Access Users can help manage the watch and monitor your child's safety.
Full Access permissions include:
- Voice calling
- FaceTalk video calling
- Messaging
- eGreeting cards
- Viewing location information
- Viewing route history
- Managing approved contacts
- Accessing most watch settings
- Receiving safety notifications
Full Access users cannot:
- Approve or deny App User requests
- Use Remote Answer
- Transfer Administrator ownership
Full Access is commonly used for:
- Parents
- Guardians
- Caregivers
- Other trusted adults
Limited Access Users
Limited Access Users can communicate with your child but cannot access safety or management features.
Limited Access permissions include:
- Voice calling
- FaceTalk video calling
- Messaging
- eGreeting cards
Limited Access users cannot:
- View location information
- View route history
- Manage contacts
- Change watch settings
- Use Remote Answer
- Approve App Users
Limited Access is commonly used for:
- Grandparents
- Relatives
- Family friends
- Babysitters
- Other approved contacts
How Do I Change a User's Access Level?
The Administrator can update a user's permissions at any time.
To change a user's access level:
- Open the TickTalk App.
