How Do I Update My TickTalk Operating System (tOS)?
Keeping your TickTalk operating system (tOS) up to date helps ensure you have the latest features, improvements, and bug fixes.
Before Updating
Before starting an update:
- Charge the watch to at least 35%.
- Connect the watch to Wi-Fi whenever possible.
- Keep the watch powered on throughout the update process.
How to Update tOS
To check for and install a tOS update:
- On the watch, open Settings.
- Select OS Update.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the update.
The watch may restart during the update process.
My tOS Update Failed
If the update does not install successfully, check the following:
Battery Level
The watch battery must be at least 35%.
Charge the watch and try again.
Network Connection
A stable internet connection is required.
If cellular reception is weak:
- Connect the watch to Wi-Fi.
- Retry the update.
Watch Froze During the Update
If the watch becomes frozen or unresponsive:
- Press and hold the black side button for approximately 15 seconds.
- Continue holding until the TickTalk logo appears.
- Release the button and allow the watch to restart.
After the watch reboots, attempt the update again.
Important Note
Do not power off the watch during a software update, as interrupting the installation may cause the update to fail.
