How Does FaceTalk Video Calling Work on TickTalk 5?
FaceTalk allows approved App Users to make video calls with your child's TickTalk watch.
FaceTalk helps families stay connected through secure video communication directly within the TickTalk App.
How Do I Start a FaceTalk Video Call?
To start a video call:
- Open the TickTalk App.
- Tap the Calling icon from the bottom navigation.
- Select FaceTalk.
- The video call will begin if the watch is online.
The watch must be connected to either:
- Cellular service, or
- Wi-Fi
to receive FaceTalk calls.
Who Can Use FaceTalk?
Only approved App Users can make FaceTalk video calls.
Before someone can video call your child, they must:
- Download the TickTalk App.
- Create a TickTalk App account.
- Request access to the watch.
- Be approved by the Administrator.
Unknown users cannot video call the watch.
Why Do FaceTalk Calls End After 3 Minutes?
FaceTalk calls automatically end after approximately 3 minutes.
This limit helps:
- Protect battery life
- Reduce device temperature during video calls
- Improve overall watch performance
If you would like to continue the conversation, simply start another FaceTalk call.
