- Move closer to the Wi-Fi router.
- Restart the watch and try again.
Important Note
The watch must have successfully connected to a Wi-Fi network at least once before Wi-Fi Auto Connect can reconnect automatically in the future.
Do kids smartwatches need wifi?
No—kids smartwatches like TickTalk 5 don’t need Wi‑Fi to work. An active cellular plan is required for calling, messaging, and location when Wi‑Fi is unavailable.
- If Wi‑Fi is available, Wi‑Fi calling may be used and location can be updated via Wi‑Fi as well.
